1999年9月至2001年8月任教于凤阳县板桥中学,2000年10月当选为板桥中学团委书记。 2001年8辞职,同年八月受聘于私立无锡光华学校。2007年7月,受聘于安徽凤阳兴华学校,任政教主任,兼任校团委书记、中学部长。2008年先后被评为凤阳县首届“教坛新星”、“教学能手”、“骨干教师”。2011年9月,任教于安吉振民高级中学。2012年,兼任高一英语备课组长。

I. Teaching goals:

1. Enable the students to classify angles by the size of angles and to know acute angles, right angles, obtuse angles, straight angles, and paragons.

2. Enable the students to use the protractor to construct angles.

3. Enable the students to speak these words in class: acute angle, right angle, obtuse angle, straight angle and paragon.

II. Important teaching point:

Enable the students to master the way of constructing an angle.

III. Teaching procedures:

Step 1: Introduction(play a game)

First, let’s play a game. Please construct an angle using two sticks.

Step 2: Studying how to classify angles.

1. Show different angles to the students ( a right angle, an acute angle, an obtuse angle, a straight angle and a paragon)

2. Ask: Who can name these angles? Why do you call it that?

3. Introduce: a right angle’s size is 90o . An acute angle’s size is smaller than 90o , an obtuse angle’s size is between 90o and 180o, a straight angle’s size is 180o,a paragon’s size is 360o

4. Ask: what is the relationship of the right angle, straight angle and paragon?

How did you get that answer?

Writing on blackboard: 1 straight angle=2 right angle

1 paragon=2 straight angle =4 right angle

Step 3: Studying how to construct an angle

1. Construct an angle of 60o

Ask: Can you try? Please try it.

Can you use the protractor to construct an angle of 60o? How did you do it?(Can you do it?)

Let the students try and then discuss in groups.

2. summary:

(1)  Draw one arm of the angle. Mark the vertex A.

(2)  Place the protractor so that the center is on the vertex A and 0o is on the arm.

(3)  Measure from 0o and mark 60o

(4)  Remove the protractor. Draw the other arm of the angle .

3. Let the student try to do the exercise(试一试) on page 23.

The students do it by themselves.

Discuss in class: what should we pay attention to when we use the protractor to construct an angle?

(用量角器画角时,我们应当注意些什么?)

Step 4: Practice 

Do exercises 1and 2 on page 23.

Step 5: Summing up

What did you learn in this class?

Can you arrange these angles we learned today by size?

你能按顺序把今天学的五种角排一排吗?
